Daniel Parks has been promoted to the position of golf course superintendent at Mission Inn Resort & Club, overseeing agronomics and golf course maintenance of the circa-1917 El Campéon and sister course, Las Colinas.
Parks has previously served as assistant golf course superintendent since joining Mission Inn three years ago. He replaces longtime superintendent Paul Hickman, who will now serve as a horticulture consultant to the expansive property.
Prior to joining Mission Inn’s golf course management team, Parks gained extensive golf course operations experience during his 10-year employment at The Villages, where he worked on the community’s 500 holes of golf. While employed there, he earned an associate degree in golf course operations from Lake City Community College.
