Michael Parkhurst promoted at E-Z-GO

Company veteran responsible for domestic golf sales.

E-Z-GO promoted Michael Parkhurst to vice president, golf channel and branch operations.

Parkhurst, formerly the company's director of golf sales in the United States, will assume responsibility for domestic golf sales through all channels including branches, distributors and corporate accounts. The promotion is part of E-Z-GO's effort to align the Sales organization to best meet the needs of its customers. In his new role, Parkhurst will continue to report to E-Z-GO's vice president, sales and marketing, Kevin Holleran.

A 15-year veteran of the golf car industry, Parkhurst came to E-Z-GO in 2000 as Northeast Regional Manager. In 2002 he was promoted to director of northern sales, and in 2004 assumed the position of director of golf sales. From 1992-2000 Parkhurst served as vice president of Sales for the Bruedan Corporation (Bolton, Conn.), an independent golf car distributor.

"Mike's success in key business initiatives, his leadership skills, and his experience in managing distribution organizations combined to earn him this promotion as we further align our Sales and Marketing organization to meet the needs of our customers," Holleran says. "Mike will play a key role as we continue to grow our business and focus on customer satisfaction and quality."

"I look forward to the opportunity to lead E-Z-GO's golf sales operations - already second-to-none in the industry -- to new levels of efficiency and performance," Parkhurst says.
