Vogt has been a golf course superintendent for 23 years as well as general manager at a private club in Illinois for four years. Mike graduated from Penn State University in 1978, worked for golf course construction companies, was course superintendent at several courses and served Illini Country Club as its general manager.
Vogt is a certified member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Throughout the years, he has been active with the GCSAA, The Illinois Turfgrass Foundation and many local trade associations.
