Marriott Golf’s “Play with the pros” sweepstakes highlights MarriottGolf.com

The interactive reservation portal serves the worldwide collection of Marriott Golf properties.

Marriott Golf, a golf operator and resort golf management company, unveiled the new www.marriottgolf.com, which serves as the interactive reservation portal for Marriott Golf’s worldwide collection of golf properties.

Highlighting the new www.marriottgolf.com is the unprecedented “Play with the pros” sweepstakes, whereby golfers have an opportunity to win an exclusive private lesson with 2008 European Ryder Cup Captain Nick Faldo, in addition to playing alongside PGA TOUR Professionals in the prestigious 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in Palm Springs, Calif.

The new www.marriottgolf.com website offers a seamless navigation system for visitors seeking information on Marriott Golf’s collection of properties worldwide, as well as turn-key room and golf reservations through the first-of-its-kind “Rounds & Rooms” program.  From a “Special Offers” section that features exclusive golf packages, to a complete Golf Course Directory, to information on Marriott Golf’s exciting “Kids Golf-4-Free” program, and even a link to the prestigious Faldo Golf Institute by Marriott (www.gofaldo.com), www.marriottgolf.com is a worldwide resource for consumers seeking extraordinary golf experiences.

Golfers visiting www.marriottgolf.com can register for the “Play With The Pros” Sweepstakes that includes the opportunity to win a 3-Day Game Improvement Golf School Package at one of four US-based Faldo Golf Institutes -- highlighted by a 1-Hour private lesson with 2008 European Ryder Cup Captain and 6-Time Major Champion, Nick Faldo.  The golf school is followed by the opportunity to participate in the Pro-Am at the 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, playing alongside PGA Tour Professionals.  The complete sweepstakes package includes seven nights of luxury accommodations at Marriott’s Shadow Ridge Resort (one bedroom villa), two practice rounds at the 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Tournament, and four competitive rounds of golf in the 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Tournament with a PGA Tour Player, among other amenities.

Designed to promote youth golf and help grow the game, “Kids Golf-4-Free” enables kids 15 years old and under to play golf for free after 3:00 p.m., when accompanied by a full paying adult at any of the participating properties.  In addition, kids 15 years old and under can also receive free lessons when accompanied by an adult who is paying for a lesson.  “Kids Golf-4-Free” is currently available at 37 properties and 53 golf courses worldwide.

Launched in 2005, “Rounds & Rooms” offers visitors the unique ability to book both tee times and hotel rooms simultaneously at 21 properties and 32 golf courses worldwide.
