Renaissance Vinoy Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Fla., and Starr Pass Golf Club, in Tucson, Ariz., are now participating properties in the “Kids Golf-4-Free” program, which allows adults and kids to play and learn the game of golf together. With the addition of these courses, the program is now available at 38 Marriott Golf resort destinations, encompassing 54 golf courses throughout the world.
“We are excited to add Renaissance Vinoy and Starr Pass to the list of participating properties in the Kids Golf-4-Free program,” said Claye Atcheson, vice president of operations, Marriott Golf. “Thus far, the program has been very well received, and Marriott Golf is committed to providing some of the finest facilities in the world for our youth to learn and play.”
“Kids Golf-4-Free” features two components. The Free Play program enables kids 15 years old and under to golf for free when accompanied by a full paying adult, after 3 p.m. The program, which is based on availability, is valid for one free round per child with each full paying adult.
The Free Instruction program enables kids 15 years old and under to receive a free golf lesson when accompanied by an adult who is paying for a lesson. Both golf lessons must be taken at the same time with the same instructor.
