Marriott Golf assumed management of Kaua’i Lagoons Golf Club, located in Lihue, Kaua’i, Hawaii, home to 36 holes of Jack Nicklaus Signature designed golf, featuring the Mokihana Course and the oceanfront Kiele Course.
As part of its management of Kaua’i Lagoons, Marriott Golf will oversee an immediate refinement of the Kiele Golf Course, which will include the realignment of two holes to overlook the scenic Kalapaki Coastline, whereby the resort will now offer four oceanfront holes. Further, Marriott Golf will manage all aspects of the golf club operation, including golf course maintenance, instructional programs, food and beverage services, and overall golf programming.
In keeping with Kaua’i’s image as the “Garden Island,” and also with Marriott Golf’s continuing efforts to preserve the environment, an estimated 350 acres of the property, including the entire golf course, will be preserved as undeveloped “green space.”
