“I look forward to my new post with KemperSports at Whiskey Creek,” says Lunn, “and to working with a staff that continues to reinforce the facility’s reputation as a leader in customer service and course conditioning.”
Whiskey Creek represents the first architectural venture of Tour player Ernie Els, who partnered with J. Michael Poellet of JMP Golf Design Group, to craft the 18-hole championship track. Bounded by a high ridge of hardwoods, the par 72 features wetlands, stone walls, streams and views of the Catoctin Mountains. Surrounded by country landscape, Whiskey Creek’s lodge-like clubhouse offers a fully stocked golf shop, banquet facilities and a full-service restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.
