Arizona State University alum Stacie Bryan, takes over the newly created position of Director of Player Development at Longbow Golf Club, an OB Sports-managed facility located in Mesa, Ariz. As Director of Player Development, Bryan will spearhead a golf outreach program designed to introduce novice golfer to the game as wells as help avid golfers play better and ultimately enjoy the game more.
Bryan will make appearances at schools and youth organizations in the neighborhoods surrounding Longbow in an effort to proactively draw students to the game of golf. Then, through her ongoing complement of lessons, clinics and demonstrations, Bryan will teach her pupils the requisite skills to set a solid foundation for a l! ifetime of enjoyment of the game of golf. As an accomplished colligate golfer at the University of Hawaii, Bryan not only produces results for novice golfers, her first-hand competitive experience allows her to effectively coach avid golfers as well.
Bryan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University in 1991, and in 1993 she joined the LPGA and started her teaching career under the tutelage of the famed golf instruction duo of Sandy and Mike LaBauve at Stonecreek Golf Club located in Phoenix, Ariz.
After that (1998) she moved over to SunRidge Canyon Golf Club in Fountain Hills, Ariz., where she developed and taught junior golf programs, private instruction and created ladys clinics. More recently, Bryan was a teaching professional at Hunting Hawk Golf Club (2001) located in Richmond, Va., and in 2004 she moved back to Phoenix where she held the position of West Coast Sales Manager for Robert Bryan Ltd. in the firms Green Grass Apparel Sales department until 2007.
