“This change represents more than just a new company name,” says Paul Curran, CEO of La Crosse Seed. “It represents a respect for our company’s roots, as La Crosse Seed was our original name when the company opened its doors in 1947. Moreover, we feel this name better reflects the entire portfolio and wide range of products that we offer.” 

In addition to forage and turf seed, La Crosse Seed provides expertise and prompt delivery on cover crop seeds, native grasses and wildflowers, inoculants and specialty growth enhancement products, fertilizer, erosion control products and more. The La Crosse Seed Team includes nearly 20 Regional Sales Managers covering the Midwest under the leadership of Patrick Reed, National Sales Manager.

A particular focus for La Crosse Seed is their recently launched Soil First™ branded portfolio of cover crop seed products. Newly named Cover Crop Lead, Scott Wohltman, aims to help La Crosse Seed’s customers navigate the exciting world of cover crops. 

Transition to the new name which includes changes to packaging and marketing materials, will be gradual and will take place over the next six months.
