SiteOne Landscape Supply has introduced LESCO Flash, a golf-oriented fungicide that offers strong performance and control of dollar spot, features fast uptake and offers proven turf safety benefits.
LESCO Flash contains 11.8 percent flutriafol, a breakthrough active ingredient that provides 21-day control of dollar spot in fairways. Flutriafol’s molecular structure provides curative and preventative dollar spot control while protecting newly developing turfgrass growth. It also works on certain insensitive strains of the disease.
“With both flexibility and proven turf safety, LESCO Flash redefines what it means to be strong, yet safe on turf,” said Brian Rowan, vice president of category management at SiteOne. “Unlike other DMIs, flutriafol yields unparalleled uptake and translocation for golf course turf.”
LESCO Flash can be applied early April through September for golf course use only. It is absorbed through the roots and shoots and is translocated through the xylem, giving complete protection throughout the plant. In addition to dollar spot, LESCO Flash also controls gray leaf spot, spring dead spot and brown patch.
