Troon is now managing Las Colinas Golf Club, a daily-fee facility in Queen Creek, Arizona, less than 40 miles southeast of downtown Phoenix. Troon will oversee club operations, agronomy, retail, and sales and marketing.

Las Colinas features an 18-hole golf course and an expansive practice facility with a practice range, putting green and chipping area. The 6,655-yard, par-71 course was designed Michael Asmundson and originally opened for play in 1982. Lined with thousands of cottonwood trees, Las Colinas is a walkable layout with subtle elevation changes.

“Our vision for Las Colinas has always been to create more than just a golf course,” said Chad Melin of AZ Golf Ventures, owners of Las Colinas Golf Club. “It’s about delivering a world-class hospitality experience for every guest. Partnering with Troon allows us to elevate every aspect of service, dining, and golf operations.

“Together, we’re committed to making Las Colinas the premier destination in Queen Creek where the community can enjoy exceptional golf, memorable dining and the warm, welcoming atmosphere they deserve.”

As a Troon-affiliated facility, Las Colinas will participate in the industry-leading Troon Access program, as well as Troon Rewards, Troon Advantage and Troon Golf Vacations programs.

Troon global sales and marketing EVP Kris Strauss added that AZ Golf Ventures “is truly dedicated to making the facility a shining gem of the Queen Creek community and making it a destination for golf and social activities.”

Among the hundreds of clubs and courses Troon manages, few are closer to its Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters than Las Colinas: The two locations are separated by just 45 miles. The club is currently closed for overseeding and will reopen October 17.
