Golf course and property developer and construction company Landscapes Unlimited promoted Ross Adkins to senior program manager of its Project Development Group.
During his eight years at Landscapes Unlimited, Adkins has become recognized as one of the golf industry’s more knowledgeable and creative turnkey project management executives. He has earned the trust of golf course owners, operators, architects, irrigation designers, clubhouse developers and others involved in building and renovating golf courses.
Adkins’ transition to an elevated role further advances Landscapes Unlimited’s project oversight effectiveness, leading fully integrated capital strategies, master planning, pre-construction, total project development and a host of solutions for golf courses, state-of-the-art practice facilities, golf entertainment venues, lodging, clubhouses and other amenities.
Among his many projects with the company, Adkins has worked on Ballyhack Golf Club in Roanoke, Virginia; Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio; River Run Country Club in Davidson, North Carolina; Contentment Golf Club in Traphill, North Carolina; and Lexington Golf and Country Club in Lexington, Virginia.
“I thrive on impacting projects from ideas to prudent planning and crisp construction execution,” Adkins said. “It’s all about satisfying owners’ visions and creating end products that guests and members regularly appreciate and enjoy — this is where Landscapes Unlimited succeeds time and again.”
Prior to Landscapes Unlimited, Adkins worked in high-end custom home building, estimating, commercial construction and residential development, anchoring his diverse knowledge of the golf course, country club, resort and community ecosystem.
“Ross is one of the most diligent professionals I’ve worked with in more than 30 years,” Landscapes Unlimited Project Development Group EVP Jack Morgan said. “His relentless work ethic and expertise in extensive planning, budgeting, scheduling, team building and open communication, drive the best result for each body of work, no matter the size.”
