Kentucky State Parks will observe Play Golf America Month in May with a special promotion aimed at young golfers.
From May 1 - 24, any player 18 or younger may play a free round at any Kentucky State Park golf course when accompanied by a paying adult.
The free play applies at all 20 state park courses. Also, a free, one-day clinic on various aspects of golf will be conducted at each of the 11 courses served by golf professionals during the month of May. The participating parks are:

The clinic schedules will be determined by the local golf professional. Call the local course for date and time.
“We are pleased to participate in Play Golf America Month,” said Dan Strohmeier, the department’s PGA director of golf. “This is a PGA initiative intended to introduce youth golfers to this great game. We have many outstanding courses located throughout the state for these young players to enjoy.”
