Hermiston, Ore., -- The developers of Desert Falls Golf and Country Club recently selected KemperSports to manage their semi-private championship course. Desert Falls is the latest addition to an expanding collection of Northwest facilities operated by KemperSports, including Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.
Currently under construction, the northeastern Oregon layout is scheduled to debut in 2006 as the featured attraction of a 374-home development project. Designed by Calgary-based architect Gary Browning, the 18-hole desert-style course stretches more than 7,000 yards.
“We hope to attract a wide variety of golfers to Desert Falls with a challenging, yet player-friendly experience,” says Gerald Christian, speaking on behalf of fellow owner Roy Woolliams. “Our selection of KemperSports serves as another step toward a successful unveiling next year.”
