Washington, N.J. – Developer and owner Richard Cotton and partners Patrick Welsh and Bob Ross, selected KemperSports as manager of Hawk Pointe Golf Club, an 18-hole northwestern New Jersey golf club that debuted in 2000. KemperSports assumed facility operations of Hawk Pointe, which converted to a completely private, family-oriented club last fall, and will be opening a new 30,000-square-foot clubhouse this spring.
Easily accessible from both New York and Philadelphia, Hawk Pointe rests on 320 picturesque acres in New Jersey’s scenic Skylands Region. Designed by Reading, Pa.-based architect Kelly Blake Moran, the 6-year-old championship layout measures about 7,000 yards from the back tees, with both nines returning to the clubhouse. The par 72, protected by more than 80 strategically placed sand traps, winds through a natural landscape of woodlands, rolling hills, and abundant wildlife. Rounding out the on-course experience are a practice range and extensive teaching area, located adjacent to the clubhouse.

The forthcoming rustic-themed clubhouse – equipped with a fitness center, banquet facility, theater, wine room, lounge and catering kitchen – will be a haven for members to relax, socialize and partake in club activities. Developers also recently introduced an aquatic center and Hydro-Har-Tru tennis courts to Hawk Pointe’s expanding lineup of amenities.
