Issue, Md. – KemperSports Management has been selected by United States Steel Realty Division to manage Swan Point Yacht and Country Club, located 90 minutes south of Washington, D.C.
The 18-hole, par-72 layout – a main attraction of the tranquil waterfront destination since its opening in 1990 – winds through woodlands and marsh and brings water into play on several holes. Designed by architect Bob Cupp, Swan Point was featured among Maryland’s top layouts in Golf Digest’s 2005 “Best-in-State” rankings. GolfStyles Magazine followed suit by naming the championship venue one of the “100 Must-Play Courses of the Middle Atlantic.”

In addition to the golf course, KemperSports will oversee an array of amenities including a full-service clubhouse complete with meeting and banquet facilities, golf shop, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and marina. Swan Point offers memberships as well as public play.
Plans are under way to enhance Swan Point’s existing site with lodging facilities, residential developments and additional recreational options.
