KemperSports announces Tony Roberto as director of golf at Connecticut’s Gillette Ridge Golf Club

KemperSports recently appointed Tony Roberto as director of golf at Gillette Ridge Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course crafted by Palmer Course Design and located just outside Hartford, Conn. In this role, he will oversee golf operations and the professional staff in addition to the Gillette Ridge teaching program.

Roberto brings 27 years of experience at both private and semi-private golf clubs. He has been named “PGA Merchandiser of the Year” four times and has been recognized with "Top 100 Shops” honors by Golf Shop Operations three times.

Roberto, an active member of the Connecticut PGA Section, also boasts an accomplished career on the course, complete with 19 individual titles in Connecticut PGA Section tournament play and five course records. He was a member of the three-time Division II national champion Florida Southern college golf team.

Gillette Ridge takes full advantage of its surrounding landscape, stretching across dense forest and open parkland, along with natural wetlands and streams.
