Control Solutions Inc. announced it has added former golf course superintendent Justin Ruiz, CGCS, MG, to the Quali-Pro team. Ruiz will support the Quali-Pro brand in the newly created West Area territory. States covered in the territory include: Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Ruiz arrives at Quali-Pro with a strong product background with his experience as a distributor sales representative in western Washington and western Oregon. Before becoming a distributor sales representative, Ruiz was a superintendent for 15 years working with cool-season grasses in the Northwest and warm-season grasses in the Southwest. Ruiz is part of a select group that is a Certified Golf Course Superintendent and Master Greenkeeper.
Ruiz received his bachelor’s degree in horticulture at Oregon State University and a master’s degree in agriculture with research in soil science from Washington State University.
