John Deere Golf’s two former North American sales teams – Equipment/Irrigation and Agronomic Products – will become one. Beginning in January 2009, former territory managers and golf sales managers will become a comprehensive team of regional field managers.
“Since the merger of LESCO in 2007, we’ve been working hard to leverage countless opportunities this partnership has presented,” says Gregg Breningmeyer, director of marketing and sales, John Deere Golf. "Now with our distributors, Stores On Wheels, golf sales representatives and John Deere Landscapes stores all being managed by a cohesive team, we’ll be able to provide even more of the personalized support that differentiates us from our competitors.”
Members of the new team will be known as regional sales managers and report to Rob Jeske, North American sales manager. Regional sales managers will work closely with distributors and agronomic sales representatives to provide customers with a holistic approach to their unique, local needs.
“By consolidating our sales team, we’ll have the tools necessary to meet customer challenges and opportunities in specific markets,” says Jeske. "Our goal is to empower our sales team to become more intimate with our customers and their courses, and create new initiatives that will fully leverage our value proposition to the benefit of our customers.”
