Jim Harris officially announced his retirement during the Chas C. Hart Seed Co. board of directors meeting Dec. 12. His retirement is effective Dec. 31.
Harris spent 45 years with the company, serving in numerous capacities including secretary, vice president, president and chairman of the board. He will remain on the board of directors.
The board has elected Bill Hart to president and Rob Hart to vice president and treasurer.
