Before joining the Booz Allen Classic, Jeffrey piloted operations as tournament director for the 85th PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in New York. Prior to that, he served as manager of operations for both the 62nd Senior PGA Championship at The Ridgewood Country Club in New Jersey and the 82nd PGA Championship staged at Valhalla Golf Club in Kentucky.

Jeffrey embarked on his career with The PGA of America in 1999 as operations administrator during the 33rd Ryder Cup Matches. Before entering the golf business, he worked at the United States Department of State in Washington D.C. Jeffrey graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass.

“I look forward to returning to the nation’s capital and working with host Washington Golf Charities, KemperSports, Booz Allen Hamilton and community and business leaders throughout the Greater Washington area as we strive to further elevate the status of the Booz Allen Classic,” says Jeffrey.

“We are fortunate to have a person of Bob’s stature and qualifications to help us continue to re-establish this event as a premier stop on the Tour,” says former congressman Marty Russo, chairman of Washington Golf Charities. “Our plan is to take the event to new heights over the next several years.”

Since moving to the Washington area in 1980, the Booz Allen Classic has distributed nearly $9 million to charities, both locally and nationwide.
Tournament host Washington Golf Charities, a non-profit organization, and title sponsor Booz Allen Hamilton, established a new tradition with the 2004 Tournament by committing 100 percent of all net proceeds to local charitable organizations.

KemperSports has operated the Tournament since 1979. For more information regarding the 2006 Booz Allen Classic, scheduled for June 19 through 25, visit www.boozallenclassic.com.
