Charlotte, N.C. – Jacobsen, a Textron company, was awarded a 3-year contract with WCI Communities to serve as the exclusive supplier of turf care equipment for their golf facilities. The companies will work closely to meet the individual turf care needs of WCI Communities.
WCI will purchase 14 pieces of equipment for their 22 golf facilities in Florida. The exclusive categories include: walking greens mowers, walking tee mowers, and rotary mowers.
“We’ve worked with Jacobsen since 1998, and they have always provided us with quality products and first-class customer service,” says David Fry, WCI’s c.o.o. of traditional homebuilding and real estate services. “Renewing the contract was a priority for us so that our properties can maintain the look and feel that we’ve grown accustomed to thanks to Jacobsen.”
Jacobsen’s Florida dealers, Golf Ventures and Kilpatrick Turf, will supply all new product needs, after sales support, parts support and annual training for WCI service technicians. In addition, Textron Financial Corp. will supply financing for the Jacobsen products at the facilities if required by WCI.
