Jacobsen named turf equipment supplier to PGA Golf Properties

Jacobsen has been named as a “Turf Equipment Supplier to PGA Golf Properties” and will serve as a Supporting Sponsor of the PGA Winter Championships, Jan. 4-Feb. 12, 2012, at PGA Golf Club, in Port St. Lucie, Fla. 

Jacobsen, which produces high-quality turf equipment to the finest golf courses and sports facilities worldwide will have their walking greens, riding greens and fairway mowers, as well as utility vehicles and sprayers utilized at PGA Golf Properties, which includes PGA Village, in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Valhalla Golf Club, in Louisville, Ky.

The PGA Winter Championships—which encompass the PGA Quarter Century, PGA Senior Stroke Play, PGA Senior-Junior Team, PGA Women’s Stroke Play, PGA Stroke Play and the PGA Match Play Championship—are annually held at PGA Golf Club, in PGA Village. The facility comprises PGA Golf Club’s 54 holes of Championship golf by Tom Fazio and Pete Dye; the 35-acre PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance instruction, fitness, technology and practice park; and the PGA Museum of Golf. The PGA Winter Championships are also presented by Premier Golf, United Rental and Hospital for Special Surgery, and supported along with Golf Pride.
