Following an upgrade to a bigger, better and more efficient facility earlier in the year, Jacobsen announced another improvement to its parts supply process with the addition of Britton Harold as the company’s new product manager for parts and accessories.

“Over the past few years at Jacobsen, we have revamped our parts business to be among the best and most reliable in the industry in terms of quality and customer satisfaction,” said Brian Melka, director of product management at Jacobsen. “Britton brings a great deal of practical experience and proven success in re-engineering, quality assurance and marketing. His expertise will allow Jacobsen to continue to raise our industry-leading level of service for our customers.”
Since 2003, Harold has worked with Husqvarna USA as a product-marketing manager, and as the business unit manager for parts and accessories within the professional outdoor power business sector. He also has six years of experience in the air solutions group at Ingersoll-Rand, serving as a quality assurance supervisor, marketing manager and marketing/e-commerce manager.
Originally from Canton, Ohio, Harold received a bachelor’s degree from Ohio Northern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has made his home in Charlotte, N.C., for the past 13 years.
