Jacobsen hires new VP of marketing

Joe Cunningham joins the professional golf and turf equipment manufacturer's management team.

Jacobsen, a Textron company, hired Joe Cunningham as vice president of marketing. Cunningham brings extensive experience as a marketing executive to the professional golf and turf equipment manufacturer.

"Joe is a proven marketing leader and will strengthen our focus on the customer in all our marketing efforts," said Dan Wilkinson, president of Jacobsen. "He brings a great deal of energy and experience and we are thrilled to have him as part of the Jacobsen leadership team."

Cunningham will be responsible for leading Jacobsen's strategic business development, product management, customer service, marketing communications, and training and technical support activities.

Originally from Manlius, N.Y., Cunningham attended the State University of New York at Potsdam, where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in economics. He later earned an MBA in accounting and marketing from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.

Cunningham previously served as sales and marketing manager at R.E. Chapin Manufacturing and vice president of marketing for Tomkins PLC, Murray Inc., Agway Energy Products and most recently Alliance Relocation Services.
