Standard Golf Co.'s Steve Tyler has been honored by the Iowa Turfgrass Institute (ITI) for outstanding service. Tyler, who serves as regional sales director/new product coordinator for Standard Golf, was recognized for co-founding the institute and serving on its board of directors for over five years.
"Steve's background with ITI has been a great asset to Standard Golf and our customers," Standard Golf Vice President Matt Hurley says. "Because of his knowledge and experience with the turf industry, Steve has been able to relate extremely well with golf superintendents."
Tyler received the Institute's annual Meritorious Service award at the 75th Iowa Turfgrass and Trade Shows held in Des Moines, Iowa. ITI was founded in 1980 to foster research, education and dissemination of information on turfgrass.
