Indian Boundary sets record

“Get Out and Play” day that included preferred rates for early-bird and mid-day tee times, as well as a family Night Golf event led to 618 rounds played.

Chicago – Indian Boundary Golf Course located on Chicago’s Northwest set a record of 618 rounds played in a single day. The rounds were played on July 8 and set an all-time high for the 57 courses managed by BCG nationwide. The record-breaking round total was a result of Indian Boundary’s “Get Out and Play” day that included preferred rates for early-bird and mid-day tee times, as well as a family Night Golf event.

“It’s all about ensuring great course conditions and an enjoyable experience for our customers at Indian Boundary,” says course general manager Nick Bednar. “Our ‘Get Out and Play’ program is just one of the ways we make it easy for people to enjoy our popular and recently renovated facility. We are very proud to satisfy so many local golfers at Indian Boundary with an affordable, high-quality golf experience.”

Play began shortly after sunrise on July 8 and concluded with a popular night tournament for 144 golfers using special glow-in-the-dark golf balls.

Illinois-based course architect Tim Nugent recently reworked Indian Boundary. Nugent added two new par 5s to Indian Boundary and the course also received new grass tees, updated irrigation and drainage and a lake on the 16th and 17th holes.
