Ann Hunter-Welborn rejoins Hunter Industries’ executive team. Along with her brothers Paul and Richard Hunter, the current CEO and president, Hunter-Welborn was active in the business from 1983 to 1995. Prior to that time, she had taught special education, having received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the field.
Hunter-Welborn will be returning as vice president of human resources. She is enthusiastic about her homecoming and addresses the new changes and obstacles that have occurred in the industry over the last decade.
“I’m very excited about coming back to Hunter Industries at such a challenging time in our history,” she says. “As a family, we have faced down personal challenges; as a company, we have grown and changed with the times while continuing to bring new ideas to the market; as an industry, we must respond to changing attitudes toward natural resources, especially water.”
She will continue to serve as chair of the company’s board of directors.
