The latest testament to Hunter’s effort in quality management comes through the recent ISO 9001:2008 Certification of the Tijuana, Mexico Hunter manufacturing facility. 9001:2008 Certification ensures that Hunter’s Tijuana facility practices quality management standards that meet the efficiency, quality, safety and environmental requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which is the most well-recognized and respected standards developer in the world. With these standards in place, customers and employees alike can be assured Hunter is utilizing the best quality management practices available in every aspect of the facility’s operations. Hunter’s Tijuana facility has been in operation since 2004, and mainly manufactures plastic irrigation valves and other high-volume products. The Tijuana facility was built to mirror the working conditions, quality standards, and employee amenities instilled throughout Hunter’s central manufacturing facilities in San Marcos, CA.
