Hunter Industries’ Kevin Gordon will assume the new role of sales and marketing manager for FX Luminaire, a manufacturer of low-voltage exterior lighting components that was recently added to the Hunter Industries family of product lines.
Gordon is currently the California regional sales manager at Hunter, managing a sales force of 11 people.
“Kevin Gordon has been a key asset in our continuing California success, and he will be missed in this role,” says Steve Abernethy, executive vice president of sales. “Hunter Industries has a strong desire to quickly complement our Hunter sales numbers with the superior FX lighting line that many of our customers are already asking for. Kevin's sales and technical experience make him the ideal candidate to lead this important Hunter initiative. Kevin will be leading a nationwide FX team, and we will do all we can from the Hunter sales side to accelerate this success.”
Gordon has a B.A. in Biology from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. He has been in the irrigation industry for 25 years, serving in sales, marketing and product development roles. He has held his Texas Irrigator license since 1985 and is currently on the board of directors of the Irrigation Association. Kevin has lived and worked in many different markets and has traveled extensively throughout the world studying irrigation practices.
