Hunter announces program to support youth golf programs

$5,000 will be donated to local Sticks for Kids program on behalf of Virtual Engagement Center visitors.

Hunter Industries has announced it will donate $5,000 to designated youth golf programs through a new engagement program.

Golf course professionals who visit the new Hunter Virtual Engagement Center between Feb. 2 and March 6, 2021 can earn $25 each, which Hunter will donate on their behalf to a local Golf Course Builders Association of America Foundation Sticks for Kids program.

The VEC is an immersive and fun online experience. Visitors can watch presentations from product managers, see Hunter’s latest golf irrigation products and play interactive games to earn money for charity.

Here's how to participate:
• Visit the Hunter virtual booth in the GIS Exhibit Hall Feb. 2–4.
• Click the Hunter VEC image for access. Create or log in to your Hunter account.
• After Feb. 4, visitors can access the Hunter VEC directly.
• Click the Tour Guides tab and find Golf Irrigation on the list.
• Complete the listed activities.

Hunter will make a donation on behalf of each participant who completes the tour tasks.

"The Hunter Virtual Engagement Center helps golf irrigation pros learn about Hunter products in a fun, interactive environment while supporting the next generation of golfers,” Hunter Golf product manager Carl Eberts said. “They can come back anytime to see our latest products, promotions and updates.”
