Hunter Industries has launched a Spanish version of its Irrigation Installation Fundamentals Program. The program is offered through Hunter University, the company’s online training portal for professionals.
Offered at no cost, the program provides essential knowledge on tools, products and techniques required to successfully install an irrigation system. Benefits include:
- Eleven self-paced video courses covering proper installation of system components, from site inspection and plan reading to valve wiring and controller installation
- Ability for participants to learn on their own schedules
- Opportunities to review core products and processes needed to install an efficient, long-lasting irrigation system
- Professional certification for participants who complete the program with a score of 80 percent or better
“Knowledgeable employees require less coaching and are better able to meet project deadlines, deliver excellent customer service and achieve profit goals,” Hunter Industries product training manager Phil Robisch said. “This program can prepare new hires to work in the field, or in the case of distributor staff, to collaborate more effectively with contractors in the store.”
