Hunter Golf expands POGO partnership

The new structure includes both hardware and integrations.

Hunter Industries expanded its partnership with turfgrass technology solutions leader POGO. Golf course superintendents can now purchase POGO Pro+ Probes, Weather Stations, and Data Loggers directly through Hunter’s global distribution network.

Hunter’s intuitive Pilot Command Center Software is fully customizable according to the daily irrigation management needs of the golf course. Integrating the hardware and data from POGO with the power and intuition of the Pilot Control Network will provide valuable insights that help golf course superintendents save time and resources.

“As the industry’s technology leader, POGO uses an approach that syncs well with our goal of making the superintendent’s life better with intuitive and innovative products,” said Jon Truttmann, Hunter’s director of golf irrigation. “This expanded partnership to sell POGO hardware is another step in bringing additional insights to our Pilot Control Network.”

The expanded integration of this technology into the Pilot Control Network is designed to make it easier to implement monitoring and analysis decisions.

“We are absolutely thrilled that Hunter sees the same value for its customers, realizing that what happens between irrigation cycles is so vitally important,” said Carmen Magro, Stevens Water Monitoring Systems vice president and POGO division leader. “Being incredibly impressed with Hunter’s Pilot Control Network and seeing it as a large leap forward in our industry, we see great synergy in our technology relationship and look forward to where this takes us."
