Honda extends engine warranties

Effective January 1, a three-year warranty applies to many of Honda Engines’ GX engines used for consumer, commercial and rental applications. This warranty replaces the existing two-year coverage currently offered by Honda on these general purpose engines.

The new plan includes GX100 to GX440i engines, GXV200 to GXV390 engines, and all V-Twin engines. Full details on the 3-year warranty and all other Honda Power Equipment warranty policies can be found at www.honda-engines.com

Similarly, Honda Power Equipment offers three-year warranty coverage for its outdoor power equipment products that feature selected Honda GX series engines. The three-year warranty will apply to retail purchases from January 1, 2009, of certain Honda Power Equipment products that are equipped with GX Engines.

While this warranty replaces the existing two-year coverage currently offered by Honda on most power equipment products, it excludes those power equipment products equipped with Honda engines less than 97 cc as well as those outfitted with Honda GXV160 engines.
