Houston, Texas-based Heritage Links announced the addition of Doug Long to its staff as vice president of construction. Long’s primary responsibility will be overseeing project managers, assist in bidding projects, securing negotiated projects, building relationships with future clients and pursuing new development projects.
Long came aboard to assist with the growth and management of the Company that currently has projects ranging from Arizona through the Caribbean. He brings 30 years of golf course experience ranging from construction management, golf course operations manager, and golf course superintendent.
Long’s experience within the golf business has been extensive. He most recently completed his tenure of more than 3 years as vice president of Sema Golf, helping to win the 2007 Golf Course Industry Builder Excellence Award for Toscana Country Club in Indian Wells, Calif. He worked closely as project manager with the developer in completing the facility.
