Heritage Golf Group announced the acquisition of Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville, Florida, from managing partner MG Orender. Southern Hills Plantation Club features a Pete Dye–designed golf course. This marks the fourth and final acquisition in a multi-club agreement, following the additions of The Plantation Golf & Country Club, Country Club of Ocala, and The Palencia Club, which closed in late October. With this transaction, Heritage’s total club count increases to 47 nationwide.
“It has been a pleasure working with MG Orender and the Hampton Golf Group team across these four successful acquisitions,” Heritage Golf Group COO Jim Oliver said. “The addition of Southern Hills Plantation Club further strengthens our presence in Florida—now totaling 13 clubs, including 10 along the state’s West Coast.”
