Harrier brand oryzalin is the newest product offering from Phoenix Environmental Care.
“Harrier is a premier formulation of oryzalin that controls over 50 weeds and grasses including poa annua, crabgrass, henbit and goosegrass,” says Rick Grant, director of business development for Phoenix Environmental Care LLC. “The product will be offered as an 85WDG in convenient resealable 5-pound jugs and formulated in uniform spherical granules that dissolve quickly and stay in suspension. In addition, Harrier inhibits the growth of germinating weed seeds and has excellent residual control.”
Grant says Harrier will carry a “Caution” signal word and may be used on more than 400 varieties of ornamental plants and bulbs. “It can also be applied to ground covers, established warm-season turfgrasses and Christmas tree plantations,” he says.
Harrier is the second of several new formulation enhancements Phoenix Environmental Care LLC is introducing over the next six to twelve months.
