Grigg Brothers has introduced GreenPIG UV, which joins the successful Grigg Brothers colorant line alongside the original GreenPIG and GreenPIG Ultra. GreenPIG UV contains a proprietary compound designed to block ultraviolet light for enhanced turf color and quality.
"Grigg Brothers will continue to innovate and study ways to improve plant health and overall quality, and GreenPIG UV provides one such, science based, solution," Grigg Brothers President and CEO Mark Grigg said.
Turf managers now have another option to improve turf performance by reducing its exposure to potentially harmful UV and near infrared (NIR) light, while maintaining optimum capture of photosynthetically active visible light. This may promote more efficient energy capture and a reduction in oxidative stress.
