Like a magnet, spring sunshine is drawing golfers onto the links at Westwood Golf Course.
The recently renovated municipal golf course is on target with an expected increase in business this spring that officials hope will lead to an improved financial picture in the not-to distant future.
A $1.7 million renovation job resulted in the course being closed for 10 months from August 2003 until June 2004. When it reopened, business did not bounce back as quickly as officials had hoped, Foster said.
