Golf construction professional Sam Sakocius has formed a new company: Sakocius Management Group.
With more than 25 years experience in the golf construction business as a builder, an owner and a developer, he will bring his expertise to managing golf and related construction projects.
“I believe I can be a great benefit to owners by providing a full complement of project management services; especially in administering 'real' critical path scheduling, project documentation, and experienced oversight," Sakocius says. "Time is money and it doesn’t take much of a slip up to incur devastating losses. My years spent on both the contracting and ownership side should prove invaluable.”
Sakocius has been instrumental in developing and project managing many high profile projects as well as creating and establishing many innovative techniques now used in golf course construction.
“I am very excited about this new venture and am very encouraged by the tremendous response I have received.”
Services will also include builder/contractor consulting.
