Ecological Solutions, Inc. and Golf Greens “Fore” U have agreed to become industry partners to one of six solutions centers at the 2006 Golf Industry Show, Feb. 9 through 11, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Ecological Solutions, Inc., has agreed to a partnership with The Environment and the Game Solution Center, while the Playing the Game Solution Center will feature an indoor practice range presented by Golf Greens “Fore” U.

The Golf Industry Show is presented by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of Amereca and the National Golf Course Owners Association. The Club Managers Association of America will join as a presenting partner in 2007. Also participating as supporting organizations are the Golf Course Builders Association of America, the American Society of Golf Course Architects and the National Golf Foundation.

The show will once again feature solution centers, with special educational offerings, interactive displays and demonstrations that focus on the latest technology and research in the industry. The centers are along the show’s main aisle and follow a progression of the game, from golf course master planning to the playing of the game.

The Environmental Institute for Golf and the Irrigation Association will present The Environment and the Game Solution Center, in partnership with Ecological Solutions, Inc. This dynamic center will provide education and solutions for environmental issues at golf facilities with a focus on stream bank restoration and wetlands management.

A meandering walkthrough stream bank stabilization and wetlands construction display will be the heart of the solution center and is designed to provide attendees with demonstrations on a multitude of solutions, including: erosion control, stream bank stabilization, stream restoration, water-quality monitoring, wildlife corridors and wetlands construction.

The stream and wetlands display, presented by Ecological Solutions, Inc., will start with a degraded stream portion, then feature bank restoration and stabilization techniques, and finish off with a restored stream segment. A small wetlands area will be built between the degraded and restored stream areas.

The Playing the Game Solution Center will feature an indoor practice range, presented by Golf Greens “Fore” U. Complete with hitting stations and putting greens, the indoor practice range will showcase a professionally designed and installed indoor playing facility featuring a variety of surfaces. Attendees will be able to learn how to incorporate play year-round at their facility.

All aspects of playing the game of golf will be featured in this solution center, from the long game to the short game. Attendees will have a chance to try out the latest products from club and ball manufacturers Callaway, Srixon and Tommy Armour. The Playing the Game Solution Center is a one-stop shop for all range-related needs. Attendees will find solutions related to running a range for profit and see the latest advancements in range equipment, including club cleaning, ball dispensing, training aids, commercial signage and range pickers.
