Western Golf Properties recently appointed John McNichols, CPA as the corporate controller to their offices located in Orange County, Calif.
"It has been an exciting transition into the hospitality industry by joining the Western Golf Properties team. I look forward to providing and implementing innovative tactics for improving accounting efficiencies for the Western Golf Properties organization and its portfolio of properties,” says John McNichols.
John brings a wealth of finance and accounting experience to the Western Golf Properties Corporate offices where he will be responsible for providing technical direction, guidance and team leadership to the Corporate Accounting team. Through financial reporting and analysis, John will manage and monitor expenditures as well as provides accounting processes and standards for Club accounting while working in concert with the Western Golf Properties team to achieve consistent systems and reporting.
John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the DePaul University and holds his Certified Public Accountant status. His previous experience has spread across a variety of industries including the information technology, civil engineering and real estate where he served as chief financial officer.
