TechniSoil North America LLC (Redding, Calif.) and Dimex LLC (Marietta, Ohio) recently reached an agreement to cooperate in the manufacturing and distribution of liquid stabilizer products for aggregate pathways and interlocking concrete pavement joint applications. TechniSoil North America develops and manufactures polymers, including the world’s first engineered nano-polymer materials specific for aggregates. Dimex is celebrating its 20th year of manufacturing quality extruded profiles in the form of landscape edging, edge restraint systems and tree care products and will tap its well-established distributor and dealer networks for sales of co-branded TechniSoil/Dimex products throughout North America.
TechniSoil Pathway Stabilizer is a ready-to-use liquid stabilizer that’s specifically designed to bind with crushed stone and decomposed granite for natural looking surfaces like paths, patios, walkways and landscapes. Easy to use for both, contractors and do-it-yourselfers, TechniSoil is packaged in convenient 5-gallon bottles and doesn’t require specialized equipment for application, just a low-pressure sprayer or watering can. Furthermore, TechniSoil is EPA compliant, harmless to plants or animals and qualifies for LEED points.
NanoPave Joint Stabilizer & Sealer is used to stabilize sanded joints, as well as seal and protect the top surface of interlocking concrete pavers. Also packaged in convenient 5-gallon bottles, NanoPave makes use of innovative nano-polymer technology to provide a stronger, longer lasting joint than competitive joint stabilizers on the market. NanoPave inhibits weed growth and ants, resists water degradation and freeze-thaw damage and isn’t affected by temperature extremes. The water-based formula is also EPA compliant.
Dimex publicly launched the distribution of TechniSoil and NanoPave at the Mid-Am Show in Chicago, Ill. on January 19, 2011. It can also be seen at CENTS in Columbus, Ohio on January 24-26 and New England Grows in Boston, Mass. on February 2-4.
