Links Magazine recently named the 15th hole at the TPC River Highlands one of golf’s best drivable par-4’s. Weighing in at only 296 yards, the hole has long set the stage for an exciting finish at the PGA TOUR’s annual Travelers Championship.
“Half-par holes like the 15th are the essence of golf,” said Bobby Weed. “They challenge both physical strength and mental acumen. The result is a timeless hole that offers interest and variety. Despite all the equipment advances in the two decades since I built the hole, the basic challenge of #15 not only remains, but has grown stronger, because the hole is within reach of more players.”
