Chicago - George W. Dunne National Golf Course was selected by the United States Golf Association to host a U.S Open Local Qualifier on May 14, 2007.
Historically, George W. Dunne National has hosted a number of state, regional and local PGA and USGA events, and will play host to the USGA 2006 Mid-Am Qualifier in August of 2006.
The 18-hole course is located in southwest suburban Oak Forest, and offers golfers the benefit of bentgrass fairways and greens.
The Dick Nugent design meanders between eight lakes that come into play on eleven holes. The layout’s trademark tree-lined fairways, generous landing areas and large green complexes epitomize the classic Chicago design school.
