The Student/Superintendent Employment Fair will bring students prepared to make the transition to an internship, crew or assistant superintendent position, face-to-face with superintendents who are looking for qualified candidates to fill positions at their facility.
“This event brings job-seeking students and superintendents with open positions together in one place at one time during the GCSAA Education Conference,” GCSAA CEO Mark Woodward, CGCS, said. “The casual format of this event provides students the opportunity to engage and interview with superintendents in a comfortable and informal setting. We are grateful to Hunter for its support of the employment fair.”
The GCSAA Education Conference (Feb. 8-12), held in conjunction with the Golf Industry Show (Feb 10-11), is the largest educational conference in the turfgrass management industry. More than 95 seminars and 40 additional hours of educational sessions are offered at the 2010 event, covering all ranges of golf course management, including agronomics, environmental management, communication and business management.
