GCSA of New England elects board of directors

The Country Club’s David Johnson will serve as President.

The Golf Course Superintendents Association of New England elected officers and directors at its annual meeting Jan. 11, 2018.  

Members of the association are responsible for management of golf courses in the region. These courses are also supported by commercial representative members of the Association.

The Golf Course Superintendents Association of New England is the second oldest Association in the country. It was established in 1924.

The officers and directors elected by the association:

Vice President: Jeffrey Urquhart, The Milton-Hoosic Club
Secretary/Treasurer: Don D’Errico, Franklin, Mass.
Director: Bob Dembek, Lexington Golf Club
Director: Peter Rappoccio, CGCS, Concord Country Club
Director: Brian Skinner, CGCS, Bellevue Golf Club
Director: David Stowe, CGCS, Newton Commonwealth Golf Course
Director: Keith Tortorella, Country Club Enterprises
Past President: Michael Luccini, CGCS, Franklin Country Club

“This board will continue moving the GCSA of New England forward and build on the foundation established by prior boards,” Johnson said.
