GCI is traveling the country in 2017 for a series of events focused on using data, GPS and advanced spraying systems to improve the efficiency of your operations. The second of four GCI Tech Tour conferences is Wednesday, April 26 at Lone Tree Golf Club in suburban Denver. GCI Tech Tour 17 is exclusively sponsored by WinField United.
“We had lots of folks reach out to us about hosting events after our inaugural GCI Tech conference last year,” said publisher Pat Jones. “The idea of focusing the agenda on the critical issue of precision turf management and holding it in multiple locations was really exciting. It also fits perfectly with what WinField United is introducing to the market via its new GeoTech Insight Platform so we were delighted to partner exclusively with them this year to do the Tech Tour.”
And, thanks to the sponsorship, this year’s Tech Tour events will be free of charge to superintendents and other turf professionals in each area.
Each event will cover all key aspects of data gathering, management and application as well as feature the experiences of experts who’ve been leaders in data-driven agronomy.
Jones will host the events and present his thoughts on the state of the golf/turf industry. Other featured speakers at the Denver event will include:
