Tee-2-Green debuts blog

New blog provides open forum for superintendents to ask questions, get information.

Launched to further increase dialogue between golf course superintendents and Tee-2-Green, the company announced a new blog, www.tee-2-green.com/lew, that shares knowledge and tips, and highlights the travels of Lewis Sharp, golf course consultant for Tee-2-Green.

“Being that we market exclusively to golf, we have tremendous working relationships with superintendents across the nation and even in other parts of the world,” explained Bill Rose, president of Tee-2-Green. “But we’re also always looking to improve and get even more feedback from the turf professionals we serve, so we’re giving them additional access to Lew through this blog.”

The blog, “Where in the World is Lew,” will provide product information and research findings, maintenance assistance and other turf tips, and recap visits to golf courses all over the world that are seeded with one of the many Penn bentgrass varieties.

Most importantly, the blog features a comment section that enables turf professionals to pose questions, get answers, and provide helpful commentary to previous posts regarding similar challenges they may have faced.

“Each week I get the pleasure of meeting new superintendents who use the Penn Bents and have an interesting technique to share or some other nugget of information that is important to pass along,” said Sharp. “And not only can I contribute, but the entire Penn brotherhood can come together to share information and offer assistance.”

Followers can expect new posts at least once each week, with comments and other feedback to flow more continuously. To view the blog, visit www.tee-2-green.com/lew.
