Exhibitor interests expands Carolina Show's challenge from 27 holes to 36.


Unprecedented interest from exhibitors means golf course superintendents will have to walk a little further and work a little harder for a chance to win the $5,000 cash prize in what is a now a 36-Hole Challenge at the Carolinas GCSA trade show.

Superintendents and assistant superintendents must have a special scorecard stamped at each of 36 different exhibitors to qualify for the main cash prize in the event presented in partnership with John Deere distributors, Revels Turf and Tractor, Greenville Turf and Tractor and ShowTurf.

Another 18 prizes worth a total of another $8,000-plus will also be given out of in the drawing at the end of the trade show Wednesday.

Exhibitors pay to be included on the 36-Hole Challenge route and demand was so strong that the old 27-Hole Challenge had to be expanded. -- Trent Bouts
